Subject Specialists (also called Liaison Librarians)
Each department within the university has a Liaison librarian who works particularly with the students and faculty of that department to provide research assistance. Many of the librarians have more than one department for which they are responsible, and some librarians are also responsible for specific types of materials, such as government publications, serials, and special collections (e.g. local history, rare books, and university archives.) If you need assistance with a research project, or just have a question you'd like to get help with, please feel free to call or e-mail the Subject Specialist/Liaison Librarian for your class or department. Here is a listing of Liaison Librarians.
